1.When was CTPartners founded, and where is the company’s headquarters?
Our origins date back to 1980 when we were known as Christian & Timbers. We grew through the late 1990s with a primary focus on the technology sector. In 2004, Brian Sullivan joined the Company as our chief executive officer. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Sullivan was Vice Chairman of Heidrick & Struggles International, which he joined upon its acquisition of Sullivan & Company, the financial services-focused executive search firm he founded in 1988.

We were incorporated on April 4, 1980 as Christian and Timbers, Inc. In 2003, Christian and Timbers, Inc. contributed all of its assets to a newly formed Delaware limited liability company, Christian & Timbers LLC. In 2007, we changed our name to CTPartners Executive Search LLC. Prior to the closing of our initial public offering, we will convert from a Delaware limited liability company to a “C” corporation organized under the laws of the state of Delaware.

We are headquartered in New York, New York and our corporate, administrative and research functions are located in our office in Cleveland, Ohio.
